SACI Remembers Trustee Emeritus Clayton Hubbs

 The Clayton Hubbs Lecture Hall
It is with deep sadness that SACI has learned of the passing on March 29, 2007 of SACI Trustee Emeritus Dr. Clayton A. Hubbs. For many years, Clay and Joanna Hubbs have been loyal friends of SACI and have been invaluable in helping advance the school's mission. The entire SACI community will always have the dearest memories of Clay and the deepest gratitude for his creativity, good will, and unflagging support.  Among his many achievements, Clay, a journalist, professor, and an international studies advisor, was the founder of Transitions Abroad magazine, which he edited for more than 30 years. SACI has named its main lecture hall in Clay's memory, The Clayton Hubbs Lecture Hall. SACI expresses its deepest sympathy to Joanna, the entire Hubbs family, and his many friends.

If you would like to contribute to the annual Clayton Hubbs Award for Cultural Exchange, please contact the SACI New York office.
